There are three (3) record books because the records on
mircofilm are in two sections. The label on the microfilm
box shows the records range from 1853 to 1890, but actually
the birtth records ends in 1879. The third book, Births and
Deaths, was created after some original ledgers were found in
the vault at the courthouse.
